AI-assisted No-Code Programming

A powerful feature of AI Assist is its ability to generate and configure no-code blocks that can be directly inserted into your project. This is ideal when learning new functionality, creating larger configurations from natural language, or simply automating repetitive engineering tasks. Using Advanced mode, it’s possible to create more complex configurations, such as the following example.

I need a no-code state machine for traffic light with sensor input and outputs for red, yellow, green. I want the yellow to be on for 2s when the light is going to red and the yellow to be skipped when going green. Turning red should start 10s after sensor input goes high and after 10s being red the light should go back to green.

AI-Assisted Software Development with full control

AI Assist now extends beyond configuration and no-code development to support software coding directly inside CDP Studio.

Unlike general-purpose coding assistants, AI Code Assist understands CDP projects, components, application structures, and the CDP Framework. It can explain existing code, propose modifications, generate new code, and help solve implementation problems, all while using the context of your current project.

AI-generated changes are presented as diffs before they are applied, allowing you to review every modification before accepting it. Longer-running AI tasks can execute in the background while you continue working, keeping your workflow uninterrupted.
