CDP Studio IDE v2.1 / 2.2

Cyber Security according to IEC 62443-3-3 is now embedded in the development platform enabling you to develop secure automation and control systems. Create web user interface with a no-code drag-and-drop UI designer and a web widget to show web content in native user interfaces.

  • Cyber security compliant to IEC 62443-3-3 and the maritime specific DNV RUSHIP Part 6, Chapter 5, Section 21 Cyber Security for ships. New tab in configuration view to configure cyber security parameters and users.
  • Create user interfaces/HMI with the no-code UI designer and convert HMIs to web-UI using web assembly without any knowledge of html programming
  • New HMI widget for showing any web content as part of a native HMI running on a panel PC, only for Linux targets
  • Add support for high DPI screens
  • Add UI/HMI tour to introduce new users to CDP Studio
  • Upgrade CDP toolkits to Ubuntu 18.04
  • Low-code and full-code now support C++17 and use clang-based code model for parsing C++ code for better coding experience
  • Support for the new Raspberry Pi Debian 11 Bullseye OS and Raspberry Pi 4 (new toolkit)

Release 2.2 is a small improvement and fix update to the release 2.1

CDP Framework v4.10

Highlights in the CDP Framework release

  • Cyber security support according to IEC 62443-3-3 and maritime specific DNV RUSHIP Part 6, Chapter 5, Section 21 Cyber Security for ships. This includes amongst others user and user roles, authentication for accessing any system object or accessing any system API, encryption, security patch updates and vulnerability fixes, file access limitations etc
  • Automatic conversion of drag-and-drop UI to web-UI supported by any web browser with web assembly. Added support for small screen with automatic layout changes based on width, expand vertically and show/hide container.
  • Added support for Revolution Pi Flat, RevPi Compact and RevPi Connect in addition to the RevPi Core
  • New functionality in Event List to avoid acknowledging not visible alarms by mistake for general safety and this is a maritime requirement
  • New examples, cyber security, Web UI with web assembly, Simple redundancy and QML/QtQuick
  • Upgraded toolchains to 64-bits for Windows and Linux
  • Support for the new Raspberry Pi Debian 11 Bullseye OS and Raspberry Pi 4 (new toolkit)

Install the CDP Framework 4.10 version using “Help -> Package Manager” and selecting “Add or remove CDP versions”. and select the CDP 4.10 for the toolchains you use. If you have issues with building projects after the update, run the Clean command from CDP Studio project tree.
