Detailed Description

The MessageRegexProxy is a message operator to send copies of received CM_TEXTCOMMAND text messages to one or multiple targets, based on POSIX regular expression match.

MessageRegexProxy is similar to MessageProxy operator allowing to forward messages from the input to the output arguments. The only difference is that for every MessageRegexProxyOut output argument there is a Search property for regular expression search pattern. The incoming message will be forwarded to that output argument only when the message matches the regular expression.

  • It is possible to convert incoming CM_TEXTCOMMAND messages to other CM_TEXTCOMMAND commands by setting the received and sent TextCommand property on the (input and/or) output MessageArgument.

Note: It is important to keep in mind that MessageRegexProxy will replace the Origin of the message and for that reason is not suitable for forwarding messages that require ACK handling or response
