FTPRequest

FTPRequest allows CDP to read, write or append any file on any remote FTP (File Transfer Protocol) or FTPS (FTP + TLS security) server.

FTPRequest shares common properties with other URLRequests, but has also the following specific configuration properties:

PropertyDescription
URL<string>File URL (or pathname). Can be prefixed by FTP protocol schemes (ftp:// or ftps://).

Note: URL property will be processed by FormatTranslator before using, so you can send any request channel value in here, that can be useful for sending channel values as part of URL (note that values can also be ValueMap translated to any string).

MethodFTP method to use for request. Choose between PUT for composing and writing request channels into file and GET for retrieving file content and parsed into response channels.
Proxy<string>Proxy server to be used for request e.g. ftp://proxyserver:8080/. Useful in some network setups that require a proxy to be used in order to reach the Internet or special network segment the URL is located in.
PutAppends<bool>When set, PUT method will append to the content of remote file (instead of overwriting it). Can be useful for logging signal changes into remote file. Defaults to overwrite (no append).
PutCreatesMissingDirs<bool>When set, PUT method will create any remote directory that is not existing in the path. Defaults to create directories.

See also shared common properties with other Requests (including the properties controlling what events cause the FTPRequest to be sent).
